THE WiLD STORY

From a small town in Latvia to chasing the wild side of life.

WiLD VecMan wasn't created in a boardroom.

It wasn't built from a marketing plan or designed to follow a trend.

It came from a life of moving, travelling, exploring, starting over, getting lost, finding new directions — and learning that sometimes the best parts of life begin when you step outside what is familiar.

My name is Martins, and WiLD VecMan is my personal journey turned into something I can share with the world.

WHERE IT STARTED

I was born in Latvia and grew up in Talsi, a small town surrounded by forests, lakes and the quiet landscapes that make you appreciate being outside.

At 15, my life changed when I moved to Australia with my mother.

Australia opened a completely different world to me.

Different landscapes. Different people. Different opportunities.

But eventually, the urge to explore took me somewhere else.

I left Australia in 2008 and began travelling through Europe.

Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czechia, Hungary...

Every place left something behind.

A memory.

A lesson.

A story.

And eventually I realised that travelling isn't really about collecting countries.

It's about collecting experiences.

LIFE DOESN'T ALWAYS FOLLOW THE PLAN

Over the years, life took me in directions I never expected.

There were good times.

There were difficult times.

There were moments when everything seemed to be moving forward — and moments when it felt like everything had to be started again.

In December 2024, after another major chapter of my life came to an end, I found myself looking at the road ahead and asking myself a simple question:

“What's next?”

The answer brought me back to Australia.

In 2025, I returned and started building a new chapter on the Gold Coast.

Not everything was figured out.

But maybe that's the point.

You don't always need to know where the road ends.

Sometimes you just need to start walking.

FINDING THE WiLD AGAIN

That's where WiLD VecMan really began to take shape.

Adventure.

Travel.

The outdoors.

Photography.

Art.

Camping.

Hiking.

The feeling of standing somewhere you've never stood before and looking at a landscape that makes you forget about everything else.

I started creating content from those experiences.

Sometimes it was a mountain.

Sometimes a beach.

Sometimes a road disappearing into nowhere.

Sometimes it was simply sitting around a campfire.

And sometimes the adventure wasn't glamorous at all.

Getting tired.

Getting lost.

Getting bitten by ticks.

Sleeping in the car.

Changing plans.

Turning around.

Trying again.

That's real adventure too.

FROM EXPERIENCES TO CREATIONS

WiLD VecMan grew naturally from those experiences.

The clothing, accessories, artwork and designs aren't meant to be just products.

They're pieces of the lifestyle and ideas that inspire me.

Some designs come from the outdoors.

Some come from photography.

Some come from thoughts, experiences and lessons learned along the way.

And some are simply things I would personally want to wear or have around me.

I'm also fortunate to have art in the family. Some of the original paintings offered through WiLD VecMan are created by my mother — real artwork rather than mass-produced designs.

That makes this more than just another online store.

It's a collection of things connected to our journey.

WHY “WiLD VecMan”?

The name is simple.

WiLD represents the part of us that wants to explore.

The part that doesn't always want to follow the obvious road.

The part that wants to experience more, see more and live more.

VecMan comes from my own name and identity.

Put them together and WiLD VecMan became more than a username.

It became a reminder:
